hello to ALL,

today the Sec 2 posting results was out, and i suffered a rude shock.
My daughter scored B4 in Math, A1 in Science, A1 in Literature, but got posted to combined science, pure Lit and POA.
Form-teacher said due to her SA2 Math failed by 6 marks, she is not advised to take A-math!
It doesn’t make sense to me… those good in Math can do pure Sciences, while those good in Science cannot do both Math?? How the school got this kind of unrealistic mentality!

My girl got into cps too

there will be orientation on 17 nov Sat 9am.
Both parents and student must attend.

I did not recall seeing mamee nor chips…

What i heard was they have a variety of food everyday… They have menu displayed at recept area.
My children told me they ate porridge/rice with carrot and capsicum(!)… Macaroni soup with chicken… Pasta with tomato sauce… It was said their menu ever won recognition from moe or some nutritionist…i forgot.
Could the mamee and chips be from some kids’ goodie bags??

In my opinion, this childcare is good.
Lately many teachers changes but still okay.
Curriculum wise is comprehensive.
They have different theme every month.
My K1 girl came back one day telling me of photosynthesis and other day on there left only 8 planets in the solar system! I did not know before then and i googled. I was impressed
They provide free dinner from about 530pm. Not common, since my girl’s previous preschool does not.

If yes, I can comment.
If it’s "Sunflower Schoolhouse", then I have no idea:-)

i just happened to know of Cantonment Primary today and can't help being very excited after bulk of worries of where to send my daughter to next year P1.
