My son was in another Sunflower. What I understand is the registration fee u have paid will be forfeited however the deposit is refundable. Of course once u have started in the school u will need to give one more notice. For your case, I would think only the deposit is refundable.

hanyu pinyin is really important to be learnt in K2. Pr 1 term 1 and 2 is on hanyu pinyin. Children will have a hard time if no basic knowledge.

I too had a bad experience with infant care. My son was down with HFMD after 2 weeks in the infant care. And I found out at least half of the babies got it.

Even for my elder son, comm book does not state his daily routines but will be a good way of comm between parents and teachers on the children’s behaviour in school.

My son’s childcare has this communication book which have columns like sleep, eat and pass motion. But the information written by teachers is not the whole day happenings. The teachers only have time to do this job when the children are sleeping so the info is before the children sleep.

A childcare with the Boss or a good Centre Manager around is very important. I find that a centre with Boss around, teachers will be more hardworking. Unfortunately it’s hard to find the Boss in Childcare now cos nowadays the operators are more of the investors.


As one of my sons in Pri 2 already I realised childcare centres which provide Hanyu Pinyin in K2 is good. There are some "cheap" centres did not teach.

My son at Sunflower Tinkleland which is located at Ubi Ave 3. This centre is near to Breadtalk. You can consider this. If you drive, this centre is really fantastic as you can drop your son at the doorstep. Not to worry about rain or shine. So far I am happy with the service as the Boss is always there to communicate with the parents.

My son currently at Sunflower Tinkleland at Ubi Ave 3. The school is nice and spacious. After joining for a few months in the PG class, my son starts to sing and speak simple words.

My son has settled down in Sunflower Tinkleland. He is looking happy. He is picking up songs and learning to speak since he joined.

I have no feedback on the teachers etc since my son has not started yet. I saw the online photos, the children are enjoying themselves.
