gosh worried that my <1km registration at RVPS will go into balloting :nailbite: as at 11am, 46 SC <1km for 47 places... i think those not <1km will have zilch chance at RVPS at end of today

i was just discussing this with my sister-in-law (who registered her son <1km in RMPS)... just looking at registered numbers for Bukit Merah schools, if all the unsuccessful from RMPS + ZDPS flow over to Gan Eng Seng/Cantonment = literally no places left in Gan Eng Seng / Cantonment for 2C supp :nosebleed: realistically only Blangah Rise is available in 2C supp... she is now seriously considering to withdraw her registration from RMPS to get a confirmed phase 2C place in Cantonment...

hmmm after this morning… think my daughter should be safe (<1km) for RVPS 47 vacancies

Hi all! Anyone can advice why parent still apply for RMPS included in the 101 applicant for when the school already need to ballot for less than 1km range? Aren't they wasting their chance?

my sister-in-law (stays just opposite RMPS) just registered her son there this morning, even though she knows its going to be <1km ballot for her she is ok with ANY other primary school if balloting not successful - hence her rationale is if successful in balloting = very happy... and if not successful in balloting = still happy :scratchhead: i guess its a situation where anything goes and if there's a chance to enrol her son in a 'better' school, why not since there's nothing to lose

the rvps admin told me during my registration today that all are SC - and a few PR did came but all left after realising the 'unfavourable' situation :skeptical:

<1km -> 35 or 36
1km - 2km -> 15 or 16
> 2km -> zero

u mean all 50 who registered are <1km??? can't be rite? thought it's 46 slots...[/quote]i thought it was 46 too as per moe website - but today rvps admins say 47 and its also written on the board... when i left the admins are still counting and 40++ <1km already :faint:
