Please share the breakdown of 1km of Henry Park intake for the phase 2C if anyone have it. Thank you.

Sorry don't have the details. Only know from the staff that they will have balloting for Phase 2C.

      No worries, Luanee 🙂

think this just happened to be a case where the schools's site is not updated.

And I thought the reason it wasnt in my databank was becoz I forgot about it. Was planning to do it today... didnt realise the data's not there! Hee... So u made ur decision?

 not really. will monitor it and decide on last day.

tks Luanee. Do u happen to have the stats for 2008?

MummyFlo, go try the schools' websites. Can't expect to be spoon-fed all the time... 😛

      Hi Luanee,

Looks like we are all looking at the same source for information.

Unfortunately, they only have stats till 2007 displayed. Thought u may know of other sources that have the latest info thus the question. Anyway, thanks for your advice 🙂

I am also wondering if academically is MGS better than HPPS. Wonder if its worthwhile to try the option beside noting that HPPS is a partial single session and MGS is nearer.

Academically wise, MGS definitely surpasses HPPS.
      2007 PSLE results (% of A* + A):
      English : MGS 90.6, HPPS 70.1
      Maths : MGS 74.5, HPPS 62
      Science : MGS 81.3, HPPS 70.6
      Chinese : MGS 84.2, HPPS 74.9

tks Luanee. Do u happen to have the stats for 2008?

      typical kiasu parent.

I managed to enrol for HPPS in Ph 2A2 but as MGS is nearer and within 1KM, I am thinking if I shld give up HPPS to consider trying for MGS. Of course there is a risk involved.

MGS only balloted for those staying 1-2km last year. U may want to gauge ur chances on the last day of phase2C. If no balloting within 1km, then quickly withdraw from HPPS and register in MGS.

Yes. I am considering if I wana try MGS during the Phase 2C. In a dilemma now as MGS is nearer to our place compared to HPPS.

Are u within 1km of both schools?

      Hi,

I am deciding between this 2 schools. any comments from anyone which is a better choice? Henry Park Primary or MGS?

Both are equally good but you may want to find how yr chance to get in. Are you aiming at Phase 2C?
