RE: Thermal pot
Thanks for your advise.
My boy dont take porridge anymore, he usually eats stew or soup with dishes and rice or pasta.
If start cooking stews in the morn, it’ll be done cooking in the pot after 4hrs?
Have you tried cooking 1 pot dish in the shuttle chef, like rice with chicken n veg, or pasta with minced meat? -
RE: Thermal pot
Hi,
Thinking of getting a small thermal pot to cook lunch for my 2yo. For soups and stews, is it possible to cook at night around 10pm and leave it in the thermal pot overnight and reheat again in the morn? Will the food turn bad overnight?
Any reviews of Shuttle Chef 1.5l?
Thanks. -

Maid or no maid
Hi, would like to get some advise from mummies who have experience looking after a newborn and a 3yo. I’m going to deliver soon and contemplating whether to hire a maid to help look after my baby and do general household cleaning when i’m working.
I run my own small business from home but i do need to meet clients and attend meetings on a regular basis. My hubby travels about 20% of the time and doesnt help with chores.
Has any mummy been in this situation? Is it possible to cope without a maid, for example getting a relative to come over and help look after baby for 1-2hrs when i need to attend meetings?
Heard many horror stories about bad maids so quite worried if i have to leave my baby to the maid even for that 1-2hrs each day. -

Bathing in childcare
Hi,
My girl is starting halfday childcare (playgroup) soon and i would like to hear from parents who sends their child to half day childcare.
The principal told me that my girl has to stay in the toilet with her other classmates during bath times as both teachers will be bathing the kids and no one to look after her if she stays in classroom. Do all childcares operate this way? I saw 8 children naked n waiting for their turn to shower. Pls advise, TIA!
