    • RE: Myanmar maids

Do you believe some of them are not here to work? They are some who actually wanted get an opportunity to walk away from their home and find excuses to travel to other countries. Get pay and enjoy life outside Myanmar. They have no heart to work.

My helper cough every 2 months . Checked with doc n doc says is air way sensitive . Should I still continue to employ her ? Her cough seems to spread to my 2 young kids too.

wow. sensitive air way needs visit doc very often. how long is she with your family? i'm not comfortable with her condition. sounds health threatening to the young kids.

my son diagnosed with ADHD since P2. He did not take a single tablet yet. (he’s in P4 now). All rely on his will power. We sent him to psychologist for therapy now.

      Hi,

Didn't know there was this thread. I just moved house and was first time moving. Movers provided on that day were all Bangla. I was so horrified the way that moved my things. Luckily nothing was damaged. DH told me got movers who can pack your things for you. Told him I dare not trust this mover company judging from the way they move. Anyone has any contact for such movers? I will be moving house again next year and hope to be fuss free.

It's is quite difficult to avoid. Singaporean don't want do the tough job

      Hi mums with P6 children,

We must learn to handle the stress and not pass it down to the kids.
There are still a good 6 months before the big P. Getting burnt out at this time is as good as not sitting for the exam. I advised my son to pace his learning as he is sitting for O levels...and a few of us also have older kids taking Os.

      :salute: agree.
