After reading this, tempted to take my kids to Europe before the younger one takes the PSLE next year. But may do it after PSLE as it is chilly at year end.

PSLE is finally over for those kids who are not taking HMT! Hurray! For those who have one more paper to go, one more day to go and then hurray!

Hi Puzz…zzle
Was out of town the past few days. Same centre that I pm you the other day. Tried a few in the past. Sometimes, also depends on our children. -
RE: P5 Science & Maths a big change

Fractions is very important as ratio and percentage topics build on that, from what I understand from my child's tutor.peapot:
Wow, smartmummy does that mean I better focus on fraction and make sure she is good in it? 怕怕
Peapot,
Yes, build a strong foundation on fractions. It's really needed for ratio, division of fractions...
DS1 is weak in fractions. I make him practice alot on fractions. -
RE: 2013 PSLE Discussions and Strategy
Can understand how relieved the P6 parents must be feeling at this moment, especially for those whose kids do not take HMT. Can finally relax

RE: mooncakes
Tried the durian mooncakes by Home Favourite’s. Thinking of buying at Taka fair. Which one is the best? Goodwood, Peony Jade or Home Favourite’s?

RE: mooncakes
Mooncakes are also getting more expensive this year! Was checking the prices online. Sigh… Price increase everywhere… Childcare centres, food centres etc

I will do that for my child next year when she sits for PSLE. I think it is pointless to do so much work every day and no time for revision. My DS took the PSLE last year. Learnt from the experience. This may sound crazy to some of you....but I feel like pulling out my child out of school for this one remaining month. There's just so much homework now, on top of supplementary classes. Even as I'm typing, dd is still doing her homework. Everynight is the same. weekends worst!
I know where her weak areas are - from her prelim exams - but I have absolutely NO TIME to revise with her , or help her brush up the weak areas.
I really feel like homeschooling her now till PSLE.
