Thanks to dingdongrc & Juning for replying to my query on AEP.

I will explore more with her once she confirms her Secondary school after her PSLE results are out.

Looks like applying to NJC as a student from a non-AEP school is the option for her.

My daughter is keen on Visual Arts, but if she does not get into a school that offers AEP, can she apply for AEP in her Sec 1 on her own?

šŸ˜„ Usually, what is the duration of an interview?

And if the interview is longer, does it mean there is a higher chance?

I am eyeing for my girl for this school. Is there anyone going to St. Margaret's Secondary school from Jurong? What time your child wake up if travel by train? For CCA, my girl planning to choose string ensemble. Anyone can share more for this. Thank you.
I am staying at Jurong West, looking at applying to SMSS, via DSA (Visual Arts).

Any parents can share what is the chance?
My gal results will probably land her in between Express/NA. Hence, looking at going to SMSS, through DSA, but to NA, possible?

    • RE: All About Teaching Values

I use divide and conquer method. I will try to bring my child out individually and then talk to them separately. It will take more time but educating them need patience.

Both parents working does not mean cannot teach, but just more selective in what to teach. Teaching them independence is more important than ensuring they do their homework.

My youngest child will check her own bag and ensure she bring her communication book to Childcare daily when she reached 5 years old. I made it clear its her responsibility to ensure that as she is going to school, not me.

    • RE: All About Math Olympiad Training & Questions

Actually this is a S3 question.

The question is testing analytically ability. If a child can solve it, it only proves the child has high analytically ability, may not be brilliant.
