This is what I found out.

Every time a maid transfer, the agency add additional 2 mths to her loan. Even if she had worked a few days and get transferred, her loan increased by additional 2 months. Worst than borrowing from ah longs.
The objective is to discourage the maid from asking for transfer.
I know of this maid whose initial bank loan was 8 mths, get transferred 3 times, her bank loan is now 14 mths, so she had to work 14 mths for free!
The agency said that this is approved by MOM.
And this is how agency make money.

this is how the agency make $$...whether the employer wants to chg maid or the maid herself wants to transfer out for what ever reason.We both lose out ..the agency make $$ :frustrated:
Thats y sometime maids prefer to find their own employers rather than return to agency to lose 2 more months of salary

i wonder when GESPS going to be a single session school :xedfingers: ...i have 2 kids ..the girl currently in P2 and the boy will be in P1 next year ...as you all know P1 n P2 are in afternoon sessions while P3-P6 are in morning session ....it would be much easier for both to be in single session so that i could arrange my working timing .. :roll:

i got to know my indon maid was actually 28 years but her ppt stated otherwise... :yikes:
It stated in the ppt that she is 31... :slapshead:

She told me in her country the govern authorities can actually alter with their age at the ppt according to the country age requirement they going to be employed ... :scared:

Thank you mummies for the advise... Im still looking for maid though n now the indonesia goverment havent finalised the new rulling for their maids . Its kinda difficult to get one . Any recommendation for good reliable maid agency? I went to this Maid2Match agency at bukit timah shopping centre but they have only 2 biodata of indon maid.:(
