Headphones can control the volume whereas banging is real loud, especially acoustic drums.

It is opposite of what is mentioned here.

My kids are with Kels Music in Bukit Timah doing piano and violin and some guitar and drums.

They have been around for a long time and is one of the better ones.
Good with individual and small groups like pair.

From experience overseas, it is better for kids to learn classical music like piano first.

Build better foundations. There are many limitations in the other instruments.
They will understand better and be able to achieve more later.
You can listen to drums and do the same sound but can’t do much thereafter.
