Scholarship application results have been sent out this week.
My DD was rejected by NTU with a rank point of 87.75.
She has also stellar leadership records since secondary school and was a school counsellor in JC.

Thank you! Considering whether to do a double degree instead of aiming for Masters in year 4.
My DS just completed his first year in E-Scholars programme and now is having his break.
So far he is ok. But heard from him some may extend their 3-year bachelor degree (accelerated) to 4 years (normal programme as they find it tough.
NUS allows them to and remain in the E-Scholars programme. But unlikely NUS will fund them for their masters degree. -

Hi, will like to find out if there is any feedback on the NUS E-scholar programme. Understand it is a pretty new programme and as it is an accelerated programme, is it stressful? 🙏

Yes, sometime last month.
Has anyone received confirmation of scholarship application this year after being offered the course of choice in local universities? -
RE: All About Universities
One reason is the bond which she is not ready to take up at this point.

Thank you, Chief for your sharing on UIUC. I will share them with my girl. She has an offer from UIUC but is leaning towards not taking up at this point.

RE: All About Choosing and Buying Violins

My son’s violin D string snapped few days ago and I purchased a new set from Lazada. Hoping to receive next few days and he’ll have to change the strings himself. Unfortunately, the violin finger board also dropped, so he scotch-taped it back for now so he can continue playing.
My child’s violin strings have turned rusty during this circuit breaker. Worried they will snap soon.
Since all violin shops are closed during circuit breaker, how to have the strings replaced?
Are there any shops that offer sale + servicing via online means during this time?[/quote] -

My boy's school has arranged for a mobile medical team to come to the school this week to facilitate the medical screening for the boys. Saves us the worry and hassle of going to GP.
There’s a deadline of 23 March leh
