      Hi Bethankful,

I have actually seen TLL’s English materials, they are indeed challenging:) The reason we like TAS is because they helped ensure that synthesis, compre techniques are well drilled. Their compos resonated better with my kids but each child is different and I would say TLL’s materials are also good just good in a different way:) So it is good that each centre has its own style or strength and then it depends which suits our kids more…

Has any parent switched their child from TLL to TAS at P3-P6 level? Can you share the feedback from your child wrt the differences in the 2 centres?

Are you thinking of switching? I think the best is to go for trial and see which fits better because what may fit one child may not fit another.

My children are at TAS for English and TLL for Science haha, so it is not apple to apple comparison

      Hi All

Anyone has feedback on Chengzhu for next year K1 at Rochester Mall? Heard Chengzhu is more of play and might not prepare well for P1 and Berries and Tian Xia is more academic. I stay near Chengzhu so easier for me. But if Chengzhu don't prepare well, then will have to travel to Berries or Tian Xia. Thanks so much.
Chengzhu is good for chinese exposure..it makes children really like the language, I would advice you to go there if your child is still resistant to chinese and maybe in preschool. But if you are going to send your child to a SAP school in primary school, good to consider the centres that are more academic by K2 especially. Berries is good for preschool kids also, it seems more popular than Tien Hsia for preschool. Tien Hsia is more structured. For work that is of a harder standard, can try Wang Lao Shi. They have a branch in bukit timah area.

      Hi All

My gal got 233. Which is the best school that we can choose in the North. We stay in Woodlands.
Can try Chung Cheng - Yishun.

      Hi,

      Am asking for next year’s P1 registration…

Which school is better academic wise?

      1. Townsville Pri
      2. Teck Ghee Pri
      3. Holy Innocents Pri
      4. Punggol Pri

The care givers stay in amk while we stay in North-East area. Which schools are better?

    • RE: Comparing English Enrichment Programmes

I know LP covers quite a lot in one lesson. In my opinion, TAS is very good for compre and compo. They also cover oral at times and other segments but I find compre and compo the harder parts to teach and so if you kids struggle in these areas, I feel TAS is especially good in those segments.

Hi, how many composition does TAS teach in one month? Any feedback? Thanks

I think it is something like every 3 weeks 1 new compo but every lesson they will cover compo..they analyse and break up the compo to help the students learn the techniques which I find important
