Hi nesame, application at mid year - year 1 and year 2 results. Subsequently, tests and interview, then followed by submission of EOY results.

Thanks for yr advise. Btw if transfer sch, all cca points earned will gone right?

Hi, sharing our experience on school transfer. Our daughter did not do well in her PSLE and was allocated a secondary school that was pretty far from home. Although she did well both academically and CCA for the two years, we have always kept the option of transfer to a better school nearer to home. She applied for school transfer in Sec 2 and has recently been given a place in an IP school. Daughter was prepared to continue in her current school if she has not been successful but she was motivated to try. She will miss her friends and CCA but felt that the move is better for her. My advice is, go ahead and try. However, final decision has to be made by your child.

      Hi
Jus like to find out how do you apply transfer? Only at the end of the year where the full year result being produce from current sch then can apply? Or using mid year exams will do?

I believe the sch already have the results. Usually the principal will present the result in slides to parents in hall if I am not wrong. Like what is the passing % kind. If they didn't get it earlier, how will they be able to prepare for the slides.

The p will go Seab to collect result early morning... by 8:30-9am all level Teachers and hods will be in conference room and waiting for p to come back... the Teachers will be very kanjiong looking thru the Long list of results to see how their kids do.... but very rush.. so also won't rmber anything.... then they will put the results in the PowerPoint slides.... so when u go school at 10:30... Teachers already know their results

Oh, so only on the day then can get. So they have to rush thru the slides within 1 hr or so.
Will u all accompany ur kid to collect his/her result or wait at home? I am still wondering whether to follow or not.. :?

This is probably the only time parents will and can go....the kids will not want parents to be there at O and A levels results release dates. šŸ™‚

Lol, my hubby was telling me not to go..he said later my gal will feel embarass in front of her friends..but from the responses, i think most parents will tag along so she wont be the odd one out... i will definitely be there to \"cheer for her\" :xedfingers: good luck to all

On a side note, how will the results be given to the child? Is it still must tear the proforated slip or results (i.e grade and t-score) straightaway can see from the certificate? Does the school alteady have 1st hand news on the results b4 11am tomorrow?? Boy i am getting nervous now already... :imdrowning:
I believe the sch already have the results.
