janet_lee88:Thx Janet...Hi Newae,
P1/2 are in afternoon session for now.
For PV, it really depends on the type of help the school requires...could be traffic warden, admin work, or story-telling.
For 2008/2009, balloting wasn't required for those staying within 1km, ONLY those staying 1-2km (yellow) need to ballot. However, that's not to say that it stays this way every year. Kids born in 2001 need to ballot (see chart for 2007).

Hi Janet,I think it's rather late to apply to be a PV, but you can still write in to the school to enquire. Do check out this link for balloting history.

For Pei Hwa, there is no balloting for those living less than 1km for 2008/2009 ie to say that all living within 1km are taken in.
It doesn't matter whether you are Christian or Buddhist.
Thx for the reply!
However I do not understand the chart..
U mean within 1km, sure will take in base on past records?
Any idea, is the school single session?
For PV, can share whether what services they required?
Thx! -
RE: [Bukit Timah] Primary Schools
Hi all,
Need ya advise…
I just bought a unit which is < 1km to Pei Hwa
Does it guarantee a place for my boy??
Do I need to do P.V? If so, how do I go about?
(There is no application form in the sch web)
My boy is born in 2005, is it too late?
And does it matter that I am a buddhist?
Thx!
