I suspect some of the scores input here are for the fun of it …it is not genuinely sharing the true scores …

    • RE: Death of SAF Full-time National Serviceman

I just wonder the medics in the NS are trained in nursing or just simply assigned to take up this vocation ?

I have 2 sons going for NS this year and next and I am really worried about their safety and I believe all parents have the same fear as well on having no confidence that the boys will be treated with humane and dignity. I heard that some inhuman commanders love to torture NS boys … they feel good with torturing their men as and when they feel like it …they have forgotten they are also sons of their parents …

There are so many cases happened in the NS and as parents we are really haunted with the thoughts of what our sons are going to go through… though one of my sons is in Pes A but I do not feel happy with it, if he gets a Pes C or below perhaps I would feel more comfortable with it. Why our male children need to suffer under the hands of inhuman commanders, of course there are those good and caring ones though strict, this is OK. But there are some act as though they are tyrant, why doing that !!! Who can address our sadness on the loss of child in the army ??? They are our blood and life.

If such mishap occur, I really encourage the culprit(s) be named and get severe punishment for it. I suppose the MINDEF should seriously educate those we becomes or already in commanding.

Life of the NS boy is precious !

My DD's friend share the info, not sure if 100% correct? 😓

RIJC did share with students that 'more than 9 in 10' scored A in PW but did not reveal the exact percentage.

Yes, I heard that from my friend’s DS from RIJC who collected his results yesterday. Really well done!

    • RE: RI’s ‘O’ level scores: only one in 10 qualified for JC.

I fully agreed with what Sutton had written.

I think too much speculations in this forum which is not fair for the affected RI boys. Please leave them alone, their parents are wise enough to know what to do for the children. They did great contributions to the school in terms of sports though they did not do well for O level. I will still compliment them for achieving medals for the school, please do not overlook this aspect of their contributions !
