Is there any way for current sec 3’s to get in?

I’m still overseas when the application form closed (today) anyway for year 3 only the music stream is open and I can only do visual arts… Sooo looks like I’ll have to stay in my current school and continue getting bullied for another two years good luck to other applicants ^^

Same!!! Except I'm trying to transfer in for visual arts in year 3 next year.. I still am not clear on details for the transfer and I'm scared I can't make it because even though my PSLE score was okay my current scores aren't good...anyway al the best also, hope we will get more details on the transfer soon

Hi remember me? I’m a current sec 2 student who wanted to transfer into SOTA at the start of this year but missed the date by one week…

Anyway I still haven’t given up hehe I’m going to try to transfer in during December this year for VA.Just wanted to ask if there are any other sec 2s doing the same as me? and to current sota students who have gone for auditions before, what can I expect and what advice do you have to give because the school website wasnt very clear about the details for transferring for current sec sch students

Hi guys usually I thought for a sec 2 student to transfer in this year, we can attend an audition during the march holidsys and if we are successful we can transfer in in april? But apparently my friend who also wanted to transfer in’s mother called the school and they said that the transfer in program was at the start of the year and it is already over, the next transfer will be NEXT YEAR. I can’t seem to find any information about the march holiday audition on the website and I’m very scared that I have missed my only opportunity to transfer in this year.

i just checked the SOTA school website, those sec 1-3 are eligible for transfer!! >w< the talent auditions will be held during the march holidays, those who qualify will be transferred into the school during April! I’m quite worried, what is the audition like? is it infront of alot of people? Thankfully I think the results reviewed will be based on PSLE results, and not current school results phew (my current school results are really horrible but my PSLE is still fine) however not both of my parents are sure about letting me transfer … TT^TT

@155dorcas hey i saw your artwork im an anime fan too and my style is similar to yours and i like your art im not a parent too but a student studying in an arts elective program in one of the schools located near central.. i scored almost 250 for PSLE but im hoping to transfer to SOTA too.. i wanna know (im sec 2 this year) is it too late for me to transfer into SOTA as a visual arts student? when is it suitable to go for an audition or interview? and to those parents who have children studying there, how are the people there, what is the level of difficulty regarding schoolwork, is it very stressful, etc etc?
