Hi all, I am new here as my girl is in P1 in CPS this year.

Any parents here with kids who is P1 this year?

Maybe we can share our thoughts here in the forum.

Just to share that my girl just fell down yesterday and not really fell down as she claimed that her bag was too heavy and it pull her down so kindl of bump her buttock. Did any parents here get luggage bag for your kids in P1?

I refuse to get one for her as i worry that when she go to 2nd floor, with such a heavy bag, how can she bring up…

I know some1 who is Rulang's alumni but instead she did PV in one of the six schools that need balloting < 1 km. No need to further elaborate what's the outcome.

Many parents out there are trying super hard to get in Rulang and yet she ..... tsk tsk ....

Dear all mummies here,

what do your think is the chances of getting into Rulang in Phase 2C? There is a definite to ballot for those < than 1 km.

Hi Ningval,

Yes, I know the dilemma... I think it is critical to monitor the number of people registering up to the last day of Phase 2C. There is a very high chance that we will again be looking at 3 person fighting for one seat.

If you have a good backup plan, i.e. you quite like the school and it will have vacancy for Phase 2Csupp, and you feel lucky and have a strong heart- then can try balloting for Rulang. I must add, there is also possibility that 2Csupp also have balloting, so if you are not within 1km, risk is again there and you have to then be mentally prepared for whatever is leftover..

This year's trend seems to be closer to that of 2007 for some schools.. u eyeing Lakeside Pri?

Are you a PV in Rulang? if not then i would say your chances is quite slim but...but this year onwards there is a new rule, Singaporean got two chances for balloting and this is a plus to your application and further more i saw quite a number of PRs staying around that area (maybe to enrol their children into this school) so if you are staying within 1km then i would say go for a try!

Thanks worrymum.....i really pray and hope what you said is true that most of them are PRs. I have applied for PV last year but was rejected, not sure what is the reason. Yes, I am staying less than 1 km. Many said that I should give it a try plus the point that I am Singaporean. But what I am worry now is that *touchwood** if i din get into Rulang, by then i think Shuqun or Jurong wil hve no vancancy, then which nearby school I shd opt for? Fuhua?.......sigh........really worried and anxious now....

I am very very confused now as well!!! Just phase 1, Rulang vancancies only left 168 and compared to last year an increase in 5%. I not sure if i shd give up Rulang and straight away reg. for Jurong or Shuqun or I should still give a try as I stay within 1km and also I am a Singaporean.....please advise me!!!!!!
