My maid no 4 went back for good after her 4th yr with me. Life is hard after she left, I have never actually done much household chores since a kid and never need to really cook even after marrying my DH of 14 yrs.
Life starts 5.15am during week days to wake my gals up for sch. Prepare their food & drink > walk them to MRT station > rush back shower > go to work at 7am > 8.15am to 5.30pm work like crazy > go home buy dinner > house work, busy with kids, misc > drop dead at 11pm
I am only reaching 1st month without my dear maid 4 and missing her very much!

Try ordering tingkat and get time a part time maid to do housework during the weekends.

Definitely lighten much of your load. So you can spend quality time with them at night.

No, sorry - not piping hot. but the food is in microwaveable containers. So I will heat up the food before I eat. You can order the trial for 10 days. There's a 10% discount for 1st time orders.

I especially like the vegetables, cos they are crunchy and not overcooked.

The soup is also nice with alot of ingredients.

I have yet to find a better tingkat provider and I have tried 6 caterers and their prices for 1 pax (incl microwaveable containers, excl rice) are as follows:

1) Mom's Cooking - $250 (1 pax)
2) Flavours and Spices $180 (1 pax) - food is more salty but slightly better than usual tingkat.
3) Kim's Kitchen $200 (2 pax) - usual tingkat but taste slightly better
4) Ban Heng (oily though soup is nice)
5) Lexin - usual tingkat
6) Empire - usual tingkat

So far, Mom's cooking is the healthiest - using canola oil and no added msg. The fish provided are the more expensive fish like salmon, cod fish and the prawns are bigger.

Frankly after trying Mom's Cooking, all the other tingkats really cannot compare.

If anyone has tingkats which are comparable in taste and price, please let me know.

Its good to change caterers once in a while.

The food though expensive is definitely much better than the usual tingkat.

Highly recommended.
