Any parents with kids at Pr 2 R1 in 2017? My boy just get transferred over…

After talking to some of my friends whose kids are also primary 1& neighbours I have the following observations:
1. The Mother Tongue teacher always changes. (Eg. the tr teaching them first term no longer in the school change another new teacher).
2. Their chinese spelling is only 8 words while most primary school is 10 words
3. For Math, they do not have word problem solving sum while most school seems to have .

As such I am not sure whether this will affect them in the long term as it seem easier for the kids now but when they are in upper primary they may find difficulties in coping.

My son will be a Primary 1 student in Sembawang Primary School in 2016. Would like to know parents whose kids are going in to this school and at the same time find out what CCA the school offers and how is the workload for primary 1 students? My friend told me Sembawang Primary School got lots of Malay students and their learning pace is slow. For eg she pointed up that her son at Canberra Primary School already start writing composiiton 80 words and Sembawang Primary is only learning constructing of sentences is this true? Hope to find parents whose kids are in Sembawang Primary School so that to know more about the school.

Just to warn all looking for transfer maids that can communicate chinese my ex maid Kyi Kyi Khiang Date of birth 28/12/1987. Her chinese name is Ah Ju. She loves to sneak out and bring her friends to my house when my hubby and I are out working and my boy is in the Childcare centre. She likes to sneak out and allows her friends to come into my house when me and my husband went to work. She still teaches my son to say lies so that he can go playground to play and she can continue chat with her Myanmar friends.

Can you share with me some information about woodgrove primary school? How is the teachers inside the school? Alot of homework? Will it be a case where Pri1 & 2 are honey moon period for children and a shock for them when they are pri 3 ? What CCA they offers? How is the school performance in term of PSLE for 2012?

Just to check, my house is within 1km from Innova, Woodland ring,woodgrove & woodland primary school.

My boy is a singapore citizen will be registering him under phase 2C.
Which school normally will not require ballot>

Also any comment between woodgrove and innova? Why is Innova so popular? How both schools performing in term of academic and also they have character building? How the teachers in the school? My friend had told me her gal being enrolled under a popular school during orientation they are given a test and assign to the respective class. For weaker students they are given 2 teachers inside the class? Do any of the primary schools in woodland doing this ?
