Hello, everyone. Need some clarity. I know it is too soon.


My daughter (on Student Pass - repeated not approved PR applications) will be entering P1 in 2020. I, my wife, and first child (currently P4 in a local school), are all PR and have been living in SG for more than 10 years. Our citizenship application is still \"pending\" status for more than a year now.

Basically, if she remains on Student Pass during the P1 Registration next year, she will be on Phase 3 and there is a most likely chance that her brother's school and nearby schools will be oversubscribed. Being in Phase 2C with my son was stressful. Dunno what will happen to me in Phase 3.

Is it possible that MOE will consider adding a slot to our son's school? To accommodate siblings?

It is a good school. Just walking distance from our block. We can reuse the uniforms. Most importantly, it will be good for the two kids to share experiences growing together.

I know it's a long shot. Just looking at our options.

I have a child in P2. I would just like to thank all the parents here and Parents Support Group for everything you have done for our kids. Your work is very important and helpful for us parents who do not have the chance to do volunteer work for the school because of work or family matters.
