Hi, I sent my son to Carpe diem @ Punggol 21 since 15 Dec. And I had been regretting my decision.


Ever since he enrolled there, he had numerous mosquitoes bites and some bites will bitten by unidentyified insects. He had his forehead and right calf bitten till very swollen. And his teachers didnt even noticed his swollen forehead. I was so shocked when I saw it. They also couldnt confirm wif me when he was bitten or by wat insects. Now both his leags are covered wif so many bite marks. Really very ugly.

I’m also not pleased wif the quality of the teachers. I noticed that the ratio of Chinese nationals are so much higher than English teachers. And when we communicate thru the comm book, sometimes I wont get any reply as the chinese teacher can’t read in English and the English teacher was on leave or MC.

And I hate the fact that they will turned on the TV at 5pm everyday as they say they need to prepare to send the kids home. But to me, when I went to fetch my boy, the teachers will just sit around talking loudly to one another or doing their own stuff while the children sit in front of the TV. I don’t like this at all as I feel that they can engage the kids in other ways like, the kids playing toys on their own while waiting for the schoolbus to bring them back home.

one gd thing is tat they will take photos on the children and will paste it in the comm book for us. Now they will post all the photos online and we can just download it on our own.

Anyway, I have already decided to pull my boy out and already registered him for N2 at a Kindy for next Jan. No more vacancies for this yr, if not, I will pull him out immediately as really heartpain to see him keep getting mosquitoe bites (today he came back wif 3 new bites, while he just had a bite 2 days ago that caused his right calf to be very swollen). I already paste a mosquitoe patch on him eveyday but seem to be ineffective.
