Are u moving to née soon GRC area? Once u have been confirmed as a member before the 1 year mark, u should entitled.

Yes u can but provided Née Soon GRC (NC/RC) is not full. So you should check before u proceed to transfer.

If you going by GRL route for P2B, you should join the GROs of the GRC that the school falls within, not by distance. Problem is as you don't reside in that GRC, you can't be an Executive Member (can only be Associate Member) and only EM enjoys the P2B privilege. As for WP or PAP, I am not sure about that, you may check it out but main point is not this now.


Alternatively, just go for P2C and hopefully stays within 1km helps.

Need help here. Going for 2c registration tmr. Staying within 1km of rosyth n xinmin can't decide which one to go to.

In my own opinion, I will opt for Rosyth since there are 43 vacancy left as compared to last year and Xinmin left 74. Just hope that the new ruling will see a reduce in PR applying for the school. But do have a backup plan tho.

Currently staying in Hougang within 1km to Holy Innocents but we will be shifted to our new home in 2014 @Poh Huat road which less than 1km to roysth but i unable to register him in Rosyth due to our S&P contract stated 2015 which MOE required the child to stay at the new home address within 2 years even though we knew that we can move in 2014.

Past history show that balloting is within 1km. Again things might be different with the new ruling. You may find out more on the figures in Rosyth school website.

To be safe join RC member as a beginner.


Phase 2B is only applicable to schools fall under your own GRC.

For example: let's say I am staying in Toa Payoh, I am only entitled to Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC. I can't apply Nanyang, SCGS, St Nicks, ACS, RGPS.
But I can apply just name a few good ones: Peichun, Catholic High

Is it confirmed that with the endorsement as active lader can apply ANY school under the same GRC? Is there somewhere that publish such info or is unspoken rule?

Hi justdoit,

The P2b letter will indicate the GRC u are serving and u can only apply to those schools fall within the GRC.

Just hope everything goes well, as is so diff to be selected. And my hubby is gg to apply for grc. We feel stress jus by looking at this year result as I am staying between 2 popular sch.

Anyone staying near Dover area and gg to PV in Henry park and Fairfield?

Used to stay around that area. Please note that Fairfield and Henry Park belong to different GRC if u are looking at P2b via GRL.

Henry Park is very selective over PV, think of a good contribution when u are signing up. Good luck!
