How many members are in the class CEC? What exactly does the CEC do? Their jobs and responsibilities? Thanks for any comments.

anyone managed to transfer into ACSJ or ACSP?
I heard there are a total of >30 from both schools who are selected for GEP this year. There should be quite a number of vacancies.

I wholeheartedly agree with your example of Joseph Schooling. In fact I have used it many times when I explained to my kids.

Joseph Schooling is a fantastic example...provided you decide to take PSLE again

Joseph Schooling is a bad example.

His eye and motivation is on the next endorsement deals he can garner before the Tokyo Olympics, not the current world's best 100m fly times. In fact his best time this year is not even in the world's top 50 best times.

A clear example of someone who had his head turned by what he can milked while he can.

Hi may I check with the parents of kids who got into rgps - during the brief by the school, was the average psle score for 2019 gep girls mentioned pls? If so, Can you share the score pls?
:yikes: It will be scandalous if any teacher or school reveals that. They don't even reveal average scores for common tests or SAs. Everyone is shooting in the dark.

Hearsay this year the final 1% only 400+ kids got into GEP, whereas last year was 500+.[/quote]
It was already 400 or less since 2017.

Hi everyone, for the acsp orientation on 1 nov this year, does anyone know whether this is orientation for parents or for kids as well? It did not mention how many ppl can attend the orientation. So I’m wondering. Thanks
School invited the boy and his family. The detailed programme is in the letter sent to you in early October.

Boy will have a separate programme from the parents between 2-4pm in the classrooms. Parents will get a briefing in the school hall. Thereafter, can order school uniform, books, make school bus transport arrangement, and submit student care and car park forms.
