This pinoy maid marilou used to work for PAKISTAN Expat family as her sir is working fulltime and her mdm is a housewife at home with a 3 year old boy. She also likes to make comparison that her Expat employer gives her freedom to have WIFI access and we Chinese family do not give her WIFI access. But during her face to face interview at her maid agency as she is a transfer maid then, she said she only use handphone at night and not use phone daytime and never talk about free WIFI access during interview. She tells a big lie that she is a discipline maid who don’t use handphone daytime and I quarrel with her many times over her bad attitude and she is not competent in her housework and cleaning/mopping of floor. She is quite lazy in her work as she does not sweep or mop the floor below the tables and sofa. She is only good in using handphone and eat snake.(very experienced maid in eating snake INDEED!!)

I would like to highlight to you not to hire this pinoy maid from Happy Home Agency at Lucky Plaza. Her name is Ms Flora Marilou Parica and she is 48 year old this year 2016. She is Filipino maid who is working in SIN for the past 10 years. She looks pleasant and kind looking but her attitude sucks. She steals employer WIFI password by erasing the password using the nail polisher remover to erase the password written in the router (which I have covered the password text using a black permanent marker). While she is cooking dinner for family, she will pick up her handphone which is kept in her pocket all the times and look at her sms sent by her pinoy friends and cook dinner meals at same time. She also talked on the handphone while feeding my baby when we are working outside as no eldery at home.
She is a very stubborn maid who refuses to follow instructions given by employers and raise her voice loudly at us when we tell her not to use her handphone daytime when baby is sleeping. She is lazy bum who shows black face when you ask her to do housework after she comes back from her weekly Sunday Off. She also takes revenge on your house by damaging your window locks and scratch your sink with her knife if she is not happy that you ask her to do extra housework like wash baby clothes by hand if baby poo stained on the baby clothes or wash car. Please do not hire this pinoy maid marilou who is old and wear sexy clothes on her offday. She also like to ask for salary advance from you before her actual payday and she is unhappy when you forgets to pay her when she asks for salary advance. Good for nothing pinoy maid Marilou who does not respect her employer by raising her voice at us and her maid agent said that she is just outspoken maid who is only suitable to work for Expatriate family. She can talk on the phone from 10.30pm till 1am at night when we allow her to finish work early and get some rest at night. Instead she talked on her handphone at night till 1am as she locked the room which we give her a room for privacy. She never respects her employer and always disobey employer instructions and she took revenge again by pouring hot water over the cap of the milk container to store baby milk powder as she claim she always does in her previous employers house… -
RE: Any Recommendation of a Good Maid Agency
Happy Home maid agency @ Lucky Plaza that specialized in Filipino transfer maids has unfair contractual practices for first time employers. The Filipino maid agent George C. Garcia has arranged for me to interview his potential pool of transfer Filipino maids on XX Aug 2015. During the interview in XX Aug 2015 George used hard selling and pressure selling tactics to pressure me to hire his Filipino transfer maids by stating that we have to make payment in cash and on the spot first in XX Aug2015 (without giving us to have a look at the terms and conditions of the employment contract) after we finished the interview session for the agency fees of $1000. He insisted that if we did not make payment for the agency fees on the spot on that day. If not, we cannot proceed to hire his transfer maid. Since we are urgently looking for a maid to take care my baby, we have to agree to this agent’s request.
When we have made the payment in cash for the agency fees, we also requested George that we want to look and have a copy of the employment contract with the maid agency in XX Aug 2015. However, George refused and insisted that he can only generate the employment contract for the maid only when we come to collect/ fetch the maid from the agency which is the date that the maid’s previous employer can release her and he only made my husband sign the terms and conditions of the contract on every pages on that day of collection when collecting the maid. We felt that this Happy Home maid agency is an irresponsible maid agency that is adopting unfair employment practices against me, the employer by insisting that we must pay the agency fees upfront first in XX August 2015 when I conducted the maid interview and then give me the employment contract with the terms and conditions at a later date (approx. 1 mth later) in Sep 2015 when I collected the maid.
We are only able to read the contents of the employment contract in XX Sep 2015 and we noted that the contents of terms and conditions of the contact are very biased to the employer as the Happy Home maid agency state that the employers can only terminate the services of the transfer maid after 90 days of the probation period from the official date which the maid starts her employment.
In addition to this, after the 90 days probation period, if the maid performance is below our expectation and her working attitude sucks, we can only inform this maid agency after the 90 days probation is over and also to give 1 month notice for the maid to look for a new employer to allow for transfer if the maid is unsuitable. If we do not wish to allow the maid to transfer, we will have to bear the cost of giving her to 2 months salary if we wish to send her back to Philippines directly. We felt that this contract is very unfair and biased towards the Singapore employers. I felt that many employers here had fallen prey to this unfair practices and I actually I lodge a complaint with MOM officer to inform them about the unfair of this Pinoy maid agency to highlight their unscrupulous and unfair practices as the agency who used hard selling tactics and have unfair terms and conditions in their employment contract which were not highlighted and the contract was not given to us before we made payment on the agency fees in August. But MOM officer does not wish to investigate further and ask me to settle dispute by lodging a case with CASE or Small Tribunal Court on this. I just want to highlight to all netizens about this irresponsible maid agency at Lucky Plaza. . Please do not use this maid agency services -

hi, I wish to highlight to all future employers not to hire this 24 yr old Indonesian maid who is still single called Nyai who is born 23 May 1990. WP no. 0 08199310. She is from Bandung Indonesia. She has skin allergies problem on her body, feet and legs and she is a hairy person who has lots of hairs on arms and legs and has body odour. She is allergic to cleaning agents like bleach and Look laundry washing powder. She is not suitable to be a maid as she has itchy rashes on her body and feet when exposed to this cleaning agents like bleach and laundry washing powder. She did not declare that she has allergic skin when she comes to Singapore to become maid through the recommendation of the maid agency.
She will complain that you future employers did not take care of her welfare if you did not bring her to see doctor for her skin problem. She is not suitable to be hire as maid for taking care of infant and toddlers as she has itchy skins and can pass germs of your child. She wanted to apply doctor eczema cream for itchy body and skin morning and nighttime. She should not apply any doctor cream in the morning as she is constantly in touch with the toddler daytime as she needs to feed and bath toddler and she is upset and unhappy if u tell her not to apply doc cream in the morning.
She also has many pimples on her face as she has v oily skin and also like to apply pimples cream morning and night. I am ok if she applies pimple cream nighttime but not in the morning and she can be stubborn and refuse to listen at time. She is quite slow in her general housework and not multi- tasks and can screw up if you assign multiple tasks to her. She likes to request to go out to buy snacks for herself to eat frm supermarket and end up come home in 2 hours time if you let her go out on her own to buy snacks. -

I don’t have 3 or more kids. I only have 1 kid but i would like to join your club as i wish to ask for parenting tips like how to take care 1 yr old baby. My baby gal likes to sleep yoyo during daytime but i want her to go childcare soon so i want to train her to sleep on mattress or playpen. Can u advise me on how you make your baby sleep well during daytime or night-time? My baby is unable to have a gd sleep during day or night as the weather is quite hot lately and she is unable to sleep with fans on.
Please share your advice on how to make baby fall asleep easily and sleep throughout the night and day. thanks. -

hi, i am trying to tell future employers not to hire this myanmar maid Hlaing Su Yin Kyaw who keeps changing employers by not completing her 2 yr contract and she will go back myanmar after 8mths of her employment with any employers as her 4 month loan period has ended. She will give excuse/reason that her mum is dying and after she return to myanmar for a few months, she will come back to sin to work as maid again when all her savings are used up. I am a first time employer to hire maid and did not know in the beginning that i should check the maid’s previous employment history in the MOM website. Now i am trying to share with all of you about this maid’s work attitude. Well, if you choose not to listen to my advice, any of you can go ahead and hire her and i can tell u that she will quit her job within 7 to 8 mths of her employment. Why waste your time to train a maid and she is not going to stay with u for at least 1 year. In addition, she will argue with you if you instructs her to do things in your way. She wants to have the freedom to take care babies using her own method. Who would want this kind of lousy maid!

I wish to share with you on the maid problems which i face when i hire a full-time myanmar maid to take care my 2 month old baby in Apr 2014. She has work attitude problem and is unhappy when i instructs her nicely to wipe baby bottom properly and thoroughly after bb urines or poo poo. She has high ego and pride as she has university degree and does not like employer to instructs how to take care baby. She threatened to me that if I think she is not a good maid for our family, she told me to go to maid agency to change maid. She said she has experience of infant care as she used to take care 2 yr old kid and 8 mth old baby in her previous employer. She is also lazy when doing housework and does not wash toilet tiles and scrub the toilet floor cleanly. She only like to play and take care baby only and does not like to do spring-cleaning. She has previous bad employment history of changing 5 employers within her 3 yr employment in Singapore. I wish to highlight to you this so that you don’t get conned or cheated to hire her. She always never completed her 2 yr contract with other employers and will use the reason/excuse that her mum is seriously ill and dying soon and she does not want to continue her employment with you. This myanmar maid is under Nations maid agency and her name is Hlaing Su Yin Kyaw from Myanmar Yangon.
