Totally agreed. Behind the scenes are some struggling to keep up to stay afloat with tough competition. Quite a number are also visiting private psychologist to manage stress / depression.
These are few and far between....been in a top 2% school it's only a handful in this criteria most are swifted out quite accurately by psle scores

By the same argument, CGSS also groom their girls differently… cannot compare other IP schools imo.

Each school has its pros and cons, and CGSS is in no way inferior to the 3 schools (vice versa).
In which case its cop would be 6 or 7 imo....cop speaks for itself ....but yeah please yourself..

Like that ur DD n her friend can go RGS NYGS MGS ib....why short change themselves go school with cop 8? Wasted.... RGS NYGS MGS groom their girls differently ....cannot compare other IP schools imo.

Meaning better don't anyhow apply to dream school if no 'strong' talent?
Mr Kiasu your interpretation is right. Just because you were unsuccessful under DSA doesn't preclude you from trying under Tscore if you made the school cop.
It's ridiculous to say that now you are in the school system and if they didn't want you via DSA they won't want you now either, even though you are eligible as you have met the academic criteria ie you meet their cop but were unfortunate. That's a ludicrous interpretation.

      Good luck to everyone tomorrow!

Considering this forum topic is on PSLE discussions, nothing wrong with others sharing info here. There are parents who appreciate the sharing of such info as their kids might be wondering if they've gotten the question right/wrong. Since they will not be getting back the PSLE paper to know which questions they got wrong, having the video explanations helps with their understanding of the topic if they had gotten the question wrong.

Parents can decide on their own not to show/share the these answer videos with their kids if they fear adding to the stress.

To each his own; live and let live.
Sure thing! Go ahead be my guest, knock yourself out hdb....

      Not to worry.

As long as your child stick to the compo theme given, don't write out of context, nor write out of point, but used enriching Vocabulary to capture & to describe the emotions along the way,

plus her English paper 2 no hiccup throughout the paper,

plus her LC no outstanding issue,
plus her English Oral is smooth,

then she is on her way,
to score AL 1, for subject English.
Lol! So in other words 200/200 AL1 guaranteed! That's news to me...lol

There’s no need to be so rude to a fellow psle mum.

Some schools the P6 kids are all wearing for safety. Hardly anyone takes off unless really uncomfortable.[/quote]
Just stating facts....they may be wearing but it's a choice. So not compulsory. So ofcos can take off if its uncomfortable....
