Is there any place/area that we can venture out of Osaka as a day trip, besides Kyoto, Kobe and Nara, within 30mins-1hour by train?

U can also visit Arashiyama which has the famed Bamboo forest. There is a monkey park up the mountain if u dont mind hiking. We spent a day there reaching in the morning & left at late afternoon to make it back to kyoto for dinner. My child enjoy the carnival atmosphere of the street lining the bambom forest

Just back from tokyo and wanted to share that we tried their baggage forwarder service to send our large hardcase luggage from kyoto to tokyo. I have to give 2 thumbs up for this wonderful service! Super convenient as they pick up from my kyoto hotel & drop it directly to the hotel im staying at tokyo. This saves us the energy & hassle of lugging the heavy & bulky luggage during our train ride to tokyo. The only minus point is that u have to arrange the pick up with your hotel at least 1 day prior. E.g. We dropped off our luggage at kyoto hotel concierge before 4pm one day prior to the day we were due to return to tokyo. So that our luggage will reach the tokyo hotel next day which is the day we check in at tokyo. With this arrangement, we only brought with us a duffel bag for necessities of 1 night & the outfit for next day. Truly lighten our load especially we were travelling with a kid. Best of all, the cost is about SGD20+ so its not super costly to do so.

Hi! Just want recommend the cc my kid has been attending since last year. Totsville Montessori at Ang Mo Kio. This centre was newly upgraded from previous unit few doors away. And with the upgrade, they are now offering full day/ half day cc service. Im not related to the business but i just find that its abit lonely for the PG & N1 class which my child is in. There are only 2 of them now. So most of the time their learning lesson is combined with N2 students. Generally i am happy with things that my kid is learning & she enjoys going to school. So i think they must be doing a good job to keep the kids happy there. I think they are now offering $100 off the school fee for a limited time sign up. So for those looking around for cc in AMK area, maybe can go check out Totsville.

MOM do not blacklist these bad fdw unless there are criminal charges then they will be barred from working in SG. MOM will instead placed the fdw on referral case. Meaning potential employer to contact previous employer who left the negative feedback to MOM & find out what happened. In the end, whether the potential employer proceed with the hiring is not MOM’s control. But whether the contact that the agent gave u to check on the referral is the real employer, who knows? 🤷🏻‍️

We are bringing our kid age 2+ to Japan early Mar. my concern is will it be easy to find eatery without smoking area as it seems that japan still allow smoking at quite alot of indoor eateries. We will be visiting tokyo, kawaguchiko & kyoto area.
