What are the chances of getting through DSA concert band in this school. What are the academic and non academic expectations ?

I need some advice/suggestions! I am looking to apply through DSA for my son who has been playing cornet in his concert band from p2 to p6.. he has been section leader and been mentoring the juniors entering the band. He has represented the school in band in SYF and SIBF. He is also trained in an indian percussion instrument and won accolades in it. Academically his results were good until p4. P5 he has managed to score only in 60's in all the subjects. I am trying to push him as much as possible to score higher. Meanwhile considering DSA too.

Being a resident of senkang and considering my child's potential

1. Which good band schools I shud apply through DSA
2. What are the chances my son gets it and how should I prepare him for it.
