Anyone has review on berries at Bukit batok? My son turning 4 next year. Planning to send him there

I signed up first bite class when my daughter turned 3. But she has been protesting whenever we take her to berries class. Now I have just changed to Tian Hsia, and she said she prefer the later.

    • RE: Choosing and Evaluating Primary Schools

      Hi all,

My child is 3 years old now and I am starting to scratch my head over which school to target. I am looking at relatively good neighbourhood school with relative good academic performance and more importantly interesting CCA and character education.

I am a catholic who lives in Yew Tee. My husband is from Zhengde, and my daughter is under care of my mother-in-law in Bukit Purmei.

With all those in mind, below are my options:
      1. De La Salle-phase 2B
      2. CHJI Kellock - phase 2B
      3. Unity Primary School (1-2 km)
      4. Yew Tee Primary School (1-2 km)
      5. Radin Mas (1-2 km)
      6. Concord (> 2 km)
      7. Zhengde (1-2km)

Would you please enlighten me which of these schools is better? What is my chance of getting into that better school?

Thank you so much for your time with my question.

      Pandamonkie.

    • RE: All About Home Addresses

      Hi all,

      I am new here.

The arrangement for my daughter is like this: She stays at my mother-in-law’s house in Bukit Purmei during the day and we will be fetching her home in the West after work in the evening. Our IC’s address is the one in the West.

When I do P1 registration, can I use the address of my mother-in-law? Eventually, we are trying to save to either rent or buy a property in Bukit Purmei, especially if my daughter gets in the desired school.

Thanks in advance for your reply

    • RE: [Choa Chu Kang] Primary Schools

      Hi all:

I am new to this forum. Would any parent whose child is in De La Salle and Concord please shed some light on the plus and minus points of the schools?

De La Salle is obviously the most popular school in the area. However, I heard that it standard has dropped and that there are inconsistency in teaching quality due to too many relieved teachers and high turnover.

On the other hand, Concord, a less popular school, has won quite a few awards and had improved PSLE scores. But the school is recently entangled in a bully case.

Thanks in advance for your reply.
