Hi Vivan, thanks for your reply and assurance

We would probably send our girl to CCC near Q3 next year. Wanna let her get use to playgroup near my MIL’s place first.

Could share how did you toilet train your son? My 16 month old just won’t use her potty, basically plays with it.

Hi Vivan and Chief, thanks for your replies

Vivan, is your kid at this CCC currently? How old is he/she? Any issue relating to environment adaption, meals, bath, toileting and other kids?
I have just visited the centre again, supervisor seems friendly and helpful, furnished necessary information upfront (like stress, anixety, charactisteric, tempermental changes, etc), perhaps to pre-empt us the doubts the parents would expect in months to come… I am considering putting my girl there, when she turns 18 months old in Dec 08. Any advice you could give?

      Dear mommies,

Any of you have kids with Golden Kids at Blk 262 Boon Lay Drive?
I was told it will be taken over by Cherie Hearts officially in Oct 08, and existing curriculums would be changed.
How was everything in Golden Kids then, wondering if you have any concerns with the take over...?

I have registered my girl with Golden Kids, might put her there after she turns 18 months old, due to 0.5km proximity between our home and my mom's, in case emergency needed.

However, realised the new principal could not write grammatically correct English - extracted from her actual emails: \"the teacher will still remain the same and there will be a few more new teacher due more intake of students\"; \"total we had 7 teachers all is experience and qualiify teachers who had been 8 to 9 year with Golden-kids\". She probably meant they have been around that long and will stay put.

It makes me wonder on the standard of langauges of the centre/s... I would not want my girl to adapt to Sing-lish prior to proper English

      Hi aggellim, smiley and chief!

Thanks so much for your warm welcome! I didn’t expect to get any reply as most folks would be busy reading and responding to some ongoing topics in the forum.

Allow me to introduce myself, I am mother to a 14 months baby girl. I chanced upon this website while looking for more informations and insight of CCCs, to prepare ourselves before sending her to one after she turns 18 months old. Currently, she is taken care of by my aged MIL.

After read some topics from CCCs to Kindergartens and Primary Schools, I realised education are no longer simple compared to 20-30 years ago… It gonna be a stressful journey for our children who are borne in this era, they would have to learn ABC in playgroup while we only learnt them in K1, sigh…
