haha. I myself started at nearly 7, then went on to grade 5 after 1 1/2 years and grade 8 after another 2 years

RE: Club Only Child Club
[quote="daisyt"][quote="Angelight"]One day I caught DD talking to her ‘imaginary friend’ and asked her who she was talking to. She said a name and pointed to a corner where she said her ‘friend’ was standing. Of cos there was no one there.
As an only child myself, yes, I do remember often playing the big sister to my bunny soft toy when I was young. I used to pretend to talk to it and then reply myself. In a way, yes, it was sad that I had no siblings, no one to play with (my parents both worked), but I had the 100% love and attention from my parents and (maternal) grandparents (I was an only grandchild on my mother’s side) who were wonderful enough to give me the best of everything – school, violin, piano lessons (no tuition though).
So for me, being the only child is something that I really enjoy, despite the occasional loneliness and the empty (creepy) house when my parents were at work and I was alone all by myself in the house, when I was young.
