My girl joined Chung Cheng High (Yishun) this year after much considerations. So far, she has enjoyed herself and doing pretty well in the school. No regrets at all. Students are generally well behaved and the environment is great!
I guess it boils down to individual as to whether a school is 'good' or 'bad'. Just to share my thoughts on CCHY
:thankyou:

RE: Endeavour Primary
As far as my girl's class is concern, they are all in the top 80s for A & B class according to last year's result. My elder girl who graduated recently was streamed this way few years back too.
Every school has their own system and if parents are in doubt, they may want to check with the school directly.
You may unaware that it did not applied since last year for P2. This year also the same. Some parents have been silent on this issue throughout the year in order to avoid embarrassment as their daughter/son is beyond 120 in the level position still in 3A. A lot of parents are very unhappy about it. It was school new system.
Oh is that so. Let me check with the form teacher when school reopens. It's good that we verify it before coming to conclusion so that parents who were reading this forum receive the correct and true information.

To my understanding, 3A & 3B are the top 80 from Primary 2 the previous year. The rest of the classes are mixed.

RE: Endeavour Primary
My girl was transferred from Canberra to Endeavour few years back after spending 80hrs of PV in Canberra. I wouldn’t say which school is better. They all have pros and cons. It boils down to the child adaptation and capability. Also, what parents want for their kids.
Principal wise, she’s ok. Nothing to complain about. No regrets on the transfer. -

Hi peacefulsg,
May I know how many times do you send your gal for MPM lesson? Once or twice a week?
I refer to the website:
Schedule for Classes
◎MPM
Twice a week, one hour each → 8 hours/month
or Once a week, two hour each → 8 hours/month
I just started my K2 daughter in MPM too. The teacher told me 1.5hours is sufficient for her. And when I asked my daughter, she told me she actually finished off the 2 booklets very fast (1/2 a book each) and she is waiting for us to pick her.
May i know which booklet number is your daughter doing now?peacefulsg:
Hi, my girl is attending MPM for the past 6 months. She is in K2 now. The lesson generally lasted for 50 to 55mins. Can I know if K2 only requires this amount of time for the teacher to explain and help them on the worksheets?
Thank you
Mdm Lim
Hello I3mum,
She is doing SG29/30 now and she is attending only once a week. Yes, I saw that the website too and the teacher also told us about 1 and a half hour. I am wondering how they can manage so many kids within 50 mins. -
