RE: River Safari,Sea Aquarium or Adventure Cove+Expensive tixs
hi Sparks, they will ask you to remove specs. A decision which bewilders me, as how do you expect to "see’ without specs?
Water coolers yes, Swim boots no idea.
F&B, although they state no outside food, I see big families with hugh pot of curry (in case you wish to buy something in) -

sparks:
thanks for sharing your review on ACW.
Safra is running a promo on various attractions until August. Adventure cove tickets are going for $15 instead of $29! There are promo for River safari & others. However, limit to 2 adults tickets only. Still savings is $28 + can use the NS vouchers i think. Ticket sales start only on 25/5/13 Sat.
I am going ACW on 25/5/13, hopefully not too crowded stillllll.... :xedfingers:
YES, I saw the Safra promo for Adventure Cove too, very attractive !
If you bringing kids along, do not forget to snorkel at Rainbow reef.
Mine do not know how to snorkel, but they were happy just swimming around -

Yes chief, I must agree with you. The Red Pandas are always underated but they are so adorable and friendly, compared to their Black\\White cousins
Between, no more $5 for Panda already -

Alas, ticket prices are too high for the average families
2A + 2C will easily cost $100 entrance fees.
We are appealing to different channels to make fees more affordable. -
RE: Where to bring kids to on wet rainy days in Spore?
Those smaller ones can don raincoats or bring a umbrella. Enjoy the rain and puddles :gloomy:

Older kids can wear their boats and play soccer.
Above suggestions will appeal to Daddies, and I doubt Mummies will be impressed (dirty laundry again)

RE: All About Birthday Parties
We recently hosted our kids birthday at East Coast McDonald (the new one at Seafood Centre).
Place is new, room is big, we are happy with their facility.

I hate to say this, but fries and burgers are seldom wrong with today's generation. If adults are still hungry the party, there is always other F&B outlets around

Ice Skating at jCube
We drop by Jcube's Ice Rink with our kiddos. Most of us are newbiews, but that did not stop us from experimenting, having fun, and bonding along the way.

RE: Travel: Malaysia - Desaru
We drove up to Lotus last week for a 3D2N.
With the new bridge, Desaru is only 40min away from Woodland causeway.
Adults prefer Seafood at Renggit, kids love Ostrich farms and FruitFarm's mini Zoo. The fireflies were a letdown (wrong season for us?)
http://i892.photobucket.com/albums/ac124/penglee1/DSC_4098-1.jpg\">
Lotus' waterpark (with the lazy river) is very popular with kids.
Do try Rhu F&B restaurant in Lotus. Their Penang fare is not-bad.
The only thing with Desaru is seafood is 28Km away at Sungei Renggit. Pegarang (where the Ferry terminal is) is another 15min away. Lobster, prawns, LaLa!
http://i892.photobucket.com/albums/ac124/penglee1/DSC_3766-1.jpg\">
First time Drivers do take note, Desaru road is not illuminated at night.
So you need to high beam around bends.
Pot holes are not uncommon.
Overall, we rate 4/5 for our Desaru experience.
Read our blog for more photos.
