      Pls help with this question, thanks

      Sheryl bought some dark chocolates and macadamia chocolates in a box. If 10 dark chocolates are removed from the box, the total number of chocolates left will be 6 times the number of dark chocolates left. If 30 macadamia chocolates are removed from the box, the total number of chocolates left will be 4 times the number of dark chocolates left. How many more macadamia chocolates than dark chocolates are there in the box?

      Hi… could someone pls help with this thanks:

      35% of the people at a movie are men. The number of women is 3/4 of the number of men. The ratio of the number of girls to the number of women is 1 :4. There are a total of 225 males. How many people are there at the movie altogether?

      The ratio of Mr Lim's age to his daughter's age is 7 : 2.In 3 years' time, their total age will be 69 years.How old will the daughter be in 5 years' time?

      Lims Age: Daughters age

      7 : 2
      Which is
      7U : 2U

      In 3 years time
      7U+3 : 2U+3

      Given that
      7U+3+2U+3=69

      Finding 1U
      9U+6=69
      9U = 69-6 =63

      1U = 7

      Current age Of Mr. Lim is 7x7=49
      Current age of his daughter is 7x2=14

      In 5 Years time daughters age will be 14+5=19 Years

      From the diagram, we can see that object Z causes the magnet to be attracted to it. However we cannot say that Z is a magnet as it could also just be an object made from a magnetic material. So statement A isn't true. The only way to make sure an object is a magnet is if it repels another magnet.

      Objects W and Y have no effect on the magnets as they have remained in their original positions. So W and Y must have been made from non-magnetic materials. So statement B is true.

      Object X has repelled the magnet, as can be seen since the magnet is the highest up. This would been that the poles facing each other would have been like poles. Hence statement C is wrong.

      So the answer would be (2). Hope this helps 😄

      Yes thanks dioprem

      Pls help with this question thanks:

      Mrs Chia baked some cookies. She gave 1/4 of it to her neighbour and kept 3/8 of it for her family. She gave the remaining cookies to the pupils in her remedial class. Each pupil received 1/24 of the cookies she baked. How many pupils are there in her remedial class?

      Remaining cookies --> 8/8 - 2/8 - 3/8=3/8

      ? Of pupils--> 3/8 divide 1/24
      = 3/8 x 24= 9

      😄

      Haha thanks Suz855

      Pls help with this question:

      Mr Lee had some shirts in red and green. If 50 red shirts and 25 green shirts were sold each week, there would be 500 red shirts left when all the green shirts were sold. If 25 red shirts and 50 green shirts were sold each week, there would be 800 red shirts left when all the green shirts were sold. How many shirts did Mr Lee have at first?

      Scenario 1

      Each week, red shirts sold : green shirts sold = 50 :25 = 2 : 1 = 4u : 2u
      Total red shirts → 4u + 500
      Total green shirts → 2u

      Scenario 2

      Each week, red shirtssold : green shirts sold = 25 : 50 = 1u : 2u
      Total red shirts → 1u + 800
      Total green shirts → 2u

      Total red shirts:
      4u + 500 = 1u + 800
      1u → 100

      Total shirts at first
      = total red shirts + total green shirts
      → (100+800) + 200 = 1100

      cheers.
