You are too young - there was a time when psle result slip had no score, then score was 300 series and top score in the 400… then the system changed to the 200 series that you see now.

I know this is psle thread. Besides doing assessment books, don’t forget to find time to read. Reading is good for the brains. Many years ago, the top psle student in my class, the 400+ score type, read chinese wu xia xiao shuo throughout the psle year.

We stayed at Citadines at kensington at about 150 pounds before tax for four person. Very good location, near Glocester station which is a less crowded station. the room has a simple kitchen and there is a breakfast cafe outside hotel with full english breakfast at $4.90 pounds. We went to the same agent each time. Told her since we are repeat customer, must give us good recommendation. Later i found out that her recommendation is based on where the helper comes from - in her opinion, they tend to be more hardworking and will finish contract if they are from the poorer provinces. maybe next time, you can check this aspect of the biodata when looking through.

The school seems to give alot more chinese homework. Maybe its just my kid, alot of homework time is spent on chinese assignments. But it does help to improve DC chinese standard… I noticed a lot less english homework in comparison.

Hi, science notes are given out by teachers. Some classes will do physics first, others will do biology or chemistry… we still purchased science textbooks that are on the booklist.


Notes are also given for history.

We brought along the primary school report book and student pass and wore primary school uniform - I don’t remember anyone not in their school uniform.
