Just happen to browse thru this thread

yes the china's soya maker is very very good.

Two brand in market : 九阳豆浆机 & Mei de

Meide is a bit more exp and with menu. I highly recommend this. i bought the 4th generation's - stainless steel.S$130 bought from China Zhu Hai

No soaking requires as will lost all nutrients from the beans.
You can do '5 grains milk drinks'or 8 treasures porridge.
Do you have the picture of the Mei de soya/almond maker that you bought?

      What is the capacity?

I have been using the Joyoung Soya Milk maker for about 2 months...

The Maker I have can cook Soya /Porridge/ cold Fruit Juice....
My Maker is Stainless Steel ...
The Size like a Beer Jug...

Simply to use...just soak the beans overnight
next morning pour it into the maker add about 1.3 litres of water...
      select the function...

After 20 minutes....the Maker will give a sound to indicate your drink is ready...

Pour out the hot liquid...strain it ....and add sugar to taste...

Each time can make 4 cups....good for a small family...
and fresh with no wastage... :celebrate:

And VERY EASY to Wash and Clean....

      So far I made Soya/Almond/Hazenut/BlackBeans 😉
