Hi i am new do this board. I have a 2.5 years old boy, he is behind in social communication and i visited development pediatrician in NUH and she thinks he might have high functioning autism.

She suggested that i can wait for formal assessment as he is very young but can start the therapy for him.
We are foreigner here so not eligible for EIPIC program which she recommended, but we can get therapies in private centers.
Can anybody here please suggest me if there is any good private therapy center in and around yishun area.
I googled about it but most of the centers are in orchard or in the east side.
It would be great help if anyone can suggest.. thank you in advance.

School is full day? EIP plus integrated Kingdergarden?

My son attended Zee Schoolhouse in the east area. They have another at Dunearn Road, I believe.They have EIP and School Readiness Programmes and also the mainstream classes. What I like about the school is as they have usual classes so my son could spend sometime integrating into mainstream.

Today, he is able to be integrated into K1 and he enjoys it. They still work with him and update me on his progress. Couldn't recommend the school enough.

Only thing is school fees are a killer.

My boy is 3.7 years old and diagnoised as Aspergers from private school. I would like to listen/hear the suggestions from all that Childcare centres that accomodate special needs kids in East side of singapore. We are staying in Pasir ris and currently my boy is attending EARLY INTERVENTION SECTION (3X) a week and one hour per day in Bridge learing school at CCK sports complex. In additon, we sent him to private speech thraphist once a week too.
At BL school, all teachers and service are good but transportation is main issue/problem for us . So we are planning to tranfer my boy to suitable school to east side.

Now we already met with principal of kits4kids and done for screening. Will start Program in jan 2018 -half day early intervention and halfday integrated child care program together. School bus also available. Hope it will smooth for my DD.
