A school we waitlisted called us and informed they were keen to take my DD into next year’s P3. But the school mentioned we need to wait till school report is out and it is confirmed our DD’s results are okay to step up a grade before they finalise the transfer process. I am concerned that school report won’t be out by mid-Nov (before holiday season) but all transfer activities will be frozen during MOE STEP process (mid-Nov - mid-Dec). Should I be safe and register for the STEP process or trust the school will still reserve the place for my DD and process the transfer in December? Tnx

Based on past years' statistics, there were vacancies right up till Phase 3. Hence, you are right in saying \"it's not difficult as compared to others...\". However, this assumes the future will follow past years' trends.

Dear parents at Cantonment Pri that got your DD/DS enrolled in phase 3 - would you mind sharing the number of vacancies vs. number of applicants for phase 3 in 2010 and 2011? I heard 2011 needed balloting in phase 3 - but what was the competition rate like? Thanks.
