      Safe travels, Slmkhoo.
Inner Mongolia seems to be a hot travel destination for Singaporeans this June — you are the third person I know heading there.

Another friend is going to Outer Mongolia. She mentioned that she will be staying with nomads and will not be able to bathe for over 10 days. 😅

      Have a great trip, Slmkhoo.

@slmkhoo I totally agree with Integer—you have been one of the most helpful forum members. You always express your thoughts so clearly, and I am sure many have benefited from what you’ve shared over the years.

Thank you! I do regret that I didn’t archive some of the posts I wrote over the years on the various topics and the exchanges with various other members. Oh well, too bad.

Guess no one could expect the migration results. Unlikely for one to archive one’s posts. But I can understand your “sayangness”, cause some of your posts were lengthy with a lot of helpful advice. Mine were just chit chats, so not so “wasted” like yours.

I just did a search for all my posts, and now there are posts back to 2011, which is about when I joined! Over 1600 pages of posts! When I have time (no idea when that will be!), I must look through them and archive some!

      hi slmkhoo,
How do you go about archiving? Does it mean copying and pasting the posts into a document? If so, it sounds like a pretty slow and tedious process.

I’m still working and plan to keep going for a few more years before retiring. Our kids are around the same age but mine still staying with me. My personal time are in the evenings—usually after dinner and washing up.

Lately, I started doing simple skincare routine, thanks to all the stuff I have bought during livestreams. It is a big change from before, when I had little/zero skincare routine. Hopefully it’s not too late to see some results.

I have also started doing some core exercises to help prevent muscle loss, and I try to stretch at night to ease the usual aches and pains.
Hopefully, I have the discipline to stick with the exercises.

Back to this thread…How do you spend your me time now? These days, I spend a lot of it watching livestreams and buying all sorts of random things — all in the name of better skincare and health, haha!

hi Integer. Nice to see you again. I remember you! Our kids should be about the same age. Unfortunately, all the messages in our PMs were lost when the KSP forum shifted to a new platform. The forum is now so quiet. If you check the ME chat, you can still read the old messages from 2013. The old kakis’ names are so familiar. I might not have chatted with all of them, but I often read what they shared. Hopefully, the old kakis will come back or some new ones will join in.

Yup… today is 端午节。Wishing all 端午安康。How many bak zhang have you eaten? This year I have eaten quite a number, homemade bak zhang from my sil. Yummy.

@slmkhoo Haha, I don’t think I can easily find a group of 30-year-olds to hang out with. Even if I could, we would likely have nothing much to talk about. But I’ve been thinking about trying some volunteer work- hopefully something new and fun. Does anyone know about community gardening? Do you need to be good at gardening to join?

Not sure why my earlier post popped up again, so I had to delete it. Sorry about that.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to edit a post? I tried, but it didn’t work.

Most of our children have grown up, so we now have more freedom and time for ourselves. My friends are travelling more these days. Last time it was used to be mostly family trips are now often with friends too.

Our conversations tend be on health, travel and skincare. Aging can be a little depressing at times. It is important to find friends to talk to and things to keep ourselves engaged.
