• RE: Appeal Secondary One Posting

Just my guess, the school staff is referring to the cop of for the Sec 1 in Year 2016. Meaning, they will only "entertain" those who missed the entry by decimals points. Make sense ?

• RE: How do you eat soft boil eggs?

I used small cold eggs. 5 mins in the boiled water & 5 mins at room temperature. The kids loved to crack the eggs on their own. I prefer to use light sauce & a garlic toast for dipping + milo - yum!

hugomum:
My pinoy maid also, never follow instruction, recently i have a short surgery and not able to eat rice so had told her to cook porridge separately for me, on the 2nd day, i went to look for my porridge during dinner time but can't find and asked her, her reply was,\" Today i cook rice and soup, so you can put the soup on your rice....!\" My blood was boiling....this is just one example, too many and so on. Am sending her back after she repay me the money i personal loan to her. Can't believe i can tahan her for 8 months and keep giving her chances. They just simply don't know how to appreciate.

wahaha.... so daring ah? u r too kind to keep her for 8 months.

from my past experience, start in P5 for PSLE preparation. Dun throw the materials away ah. P5 year end break can start introducing circle and speed.

It works well for me and DS too esp. those difficult ones.

I always ask DS "can you come back and teach me?"
He does it without fail. Maybe he felt accomplished.
Hi

After deliberating for many days, we sort of put the sequence as follow:

DD result: 258 and HMT merit, obtained EESIS

Location: Boon Lay

DD preference: All girls & SAP (if possible)

1 - NYGH (travel bus/mrt/walk 56 mins)
2 - RGS (travel bus/mrt/walk 51 mins)
3 - CHIJ St Nicholas (travel bus/mrt/walk 76 mins)
4 - RV (walk from home 8 mins)
5 - MGS (travel bus/mrt/walk 48 mins)
6 - SCGS (travel bus/mrt/walk 48 mins)

Appreciate any feedback or consideration that we may have omitted. Thanks.

Sorry, how are you going to walk to st nik after taking mrt? It's almost impossible.

Quite a number of different buses can be taken from the bus interchange to a bus stop near the school. From there it's only a less than 5 min walk to SNGS.
Oh, take a bus after mrt is then more logical.

• RE: Secondary School Selection 2013

Hello,

My DD has a +2 bonus point for HMT.
Does the system auto add this bonus point when we select a SAP schoo? :?

And do we put our preferred school 1st or acc. to the COP 1st? My top 4 choices are of 1-2 points difference only.

Pls advise, thank you.
