My son is in Session 2 which has turned out to be better as we don't need to drive him to school during peak hour traffic in the morning and his younger Sister gets to take an undisturbed nap at home while he is in school. It's rest time for Mummy too!

May i know what's the school hours like & which campus is your child in? Btw, is there an open house day recently?

School hours are either 8:15am to 11:15am or 11:30pm to 2:30pm. If you'd like to avoid peak hour traffic, I suggest sending your child for the 2nd session.

There was an open house a few months ago for the new Gilstead Campus. Don't think there will be anymore coming up till next year.

I cook organic brown rice from NTUC for dinner almost every night. For 1 cup of rice, I pour in enough water till it reaches the \"2\" level ie the level for 2 cups of white rice. Turns out fluffy, not soggy and just nice. Once in a while I will cook white rice instead. For that, just follow instructions.


Yeah it is still under warranty but so much hassle to go back to the shop. I guess I will get around to it one of these days.

Oh, I forgot to mention something. The rice does become crusty at the bottom of you let it \"keep warm\" for too long.

I have been using the Song Cho s/s rice cooker for about six months. Quite happy with it. The rice cooks evenly, the water level indicator is accurate so the rice turns out perfect. Unlike the Philips one that I was using before this.

Only thing is, the computerized setting to start cooking at specific time is not working anymore. So now I must always make sure I'm home 45m before meal time to start the cooking.

I tried out Honestbee last week and was surprised by how easy it is to hit the $30 for free delivery. I've been making an order once every two days.

I buy 2ltr Farmhouse milk, 1kg Greek Yogurt, 2 packs vegetables, 1 pack fruits, 1 carton of eggs, 3ltr mineral water, and ingredients for making soup.
Order at 3pm, receive at 4pm, boil soup for 2 hours. Ready for dinner. :imcool:

Hi intruder, I think it is a good school that helps develop the whole child according to the theory of multiple intelligences. But if you live in Punggol, it might be too tiring for your child to travel the distance. I live just 15m away from the school but there were times when it rained and the traffic snarled. My journey ended up 1.5hrs and my poor child who was newly potty-trained couldn’t hold it in.

I too have resolved to his hair myself. Learned from YouTube videos.

Hi BabyR, my PNPGson loves taking the bus. It is an adventure. Only thing is, it is longer travelling time. So less sleep for everyone as we have to wake earlier.

Hi Mummies, I registered my son for PNPG at Harding and even though there was vacancy, I did not confirm the registration because of the uncertainty of the move then. Now that I know they will be moving to Gilstead, I am not sure if I want to let my son go to Harding for one year and then move to Gilstead after. I was told Gilstead is full anyway.

My concern is the location. Gilstead is quite out of the way and I am not sure if school bus is a good option at such young age. Can mummies who are planning to let your child take the school bus share your views please?

His behavior is normal for a two year old. My son not only shares the same room as us, in the middle of the night, he needs to be hugging me. When I allow him to do that (I continue sleeping), he doesn’t need to wake up as his needs are met.
