Hi, I am going to Taiwan in Dec. A family tour with 2 kids

Anybody has experience travel by HSR to Taichung?

At Tai chung, I am planning to visit Da hu for strawberry picking, sinshe flower ( i am not sure on this but saw on some web), lavendar cottage n monster village.
I plan to go SML main focus on Abnormal culture village.(九族文化）
Follow by tour n over night trip in Cing jing.
After that back to Taipei.

Does anyone has good local driver to recommend at Tai chung?
Do i need to book a full day taxi at SML to abonormal culture village?
How long does it take from Cing jing back to Taipei car vs Hsr?

Appreciate any help and recommendation?

Skipping SML, 18 degrees chocolate factory, Carton King, Lavender Cottage, Moncoeur, etc..
