SBF is NOT a clan. It is a religious organization (I thought Buddhism in the name is a giveaway). Its more than being comfortable with them, you have to embrace a religion.

Much like you don’t join ACCS directly to be eligible for a Catholic school, you don’t join SBF directly to be eligible for Phase 2B. You have to be a Buddhist, associated with a temple connected to SBF to be eligible. Details best to find out from SBF or those in Maha Bodhi / Phase 2B thread.

P/S: if you are not a Buddhist but ok with this approach, can consider joining a Methodist church for the Methodist schools, or a Catholic church for the Catholic schools etc :siam:

Also, by joining SBF, it may not be enough for you to get the Letter of Introduction. Not sure what is required but best to find out more while you still have time. For Phase 2C, it's always tikam tikam because you may not get the chance if number of applicants < 1km or in the earlier phase surges.

Important question would be the \"name of the school\".
For a number of schools, 1 to 2km in Phase 2B is as good as no chance, PV, clan or otherwise. For the majority of the clan schools, Phase 2C > 1km is as good as zero chance.

by clan you mean SHHK? I would strongly suggest to go Phase 2B if possible. Phase 2C is too much handle unless no choice.

am also starting to gather more info for P1 registration

sadly the school that i want my boy to enter do not accept PV, it's 1km to 2km within our house and its just directly opposite my workplace.

wondering if really need to go to the extend of joining clan to use Phase 2B
or leave it to fate and wait for Phase 2C
