Dear all, well said sohmin. I totally agree with you. My dd is in Year 1 Dance n she really like the school very much . The students in SOTA will have to cope with Academic subjects n individual Art form but they enjoying themselves by studying Hard n playing Hard. Cos thy have the passion for their art form. So they will do well.

After long hours in Sch , my dd has to continue on 2 nights of her ballet class n ends very late at 10 pm BUT she never complain and are very supportive of her passion.

Any parents have any doubt about SOTA , they should attend the OPEN SYMPOSIUM to find out more about the Sch .
If you’re worry that SOTA only produce Artistic people , u are wrong , they produce a overall package student that will be ready for the new society .
Just look at their 1st IB results through their websites to find out .

I am not sure about yr dc CO school but mine actually sent us an email before release of results to email the school once we receive our results by scanning the result slip.
The S1 forms actually stated the school that our DC has been successful and to report for registration.
if you are worry why don’t you call yr dc CO school to check .
The Secondary school will have our dc names .

I did not submit too cos I call my dd DSA CO sch n they said don’t nd to send in .

Yes she started BAC since P4 n did Foundation course . But this year at BAC , Mr Janek asked her to join the Intermediate class.
My dd is not from SBA.
My dd currently taking RAD Grade 7 & Intermediate.She has completed RAD Grade 6 & Intermediate Foundation .
Actually even if yr dd taking BAC Foundation class next year , the syllabus will be different .
N if yr dd is not in BAC she can’t audition for ‘Nutcracker’ production next year end.
As SOTA Year 1 has no performance so SDT production will be gd for our dd exposure.
Thats just my thought .
Even if yr dd in this year BAC , still nd to go for Audition .
Yes in fact alot of them are in the present Intermediate class.

Yes she was in the production 2 yrs ago.
My dd loves performances especially SDT production .
So far she did "Nutcracker", " Sleeping Beauty " from SDT.
She get to make new friends n loves the backstage fun.
Is yr dd in Foundation or Intermediate class of BAC??
Has yr dd register for next year BAC Audition ?? Cos next year Nutcracker production really fun with beautiful costumes n more dancing .
