As i think the ozone layer is not COMPLETELY depleted,there will still be a shelter but i think there would be more UV rays passing through the ozone layer? i am also not so sure about that...PsleStudent:The gas called ozone protects the earth from the direct rays from the sun by forming a layer in the atmosphere. If not this layer the heat of the sun will get to the earth directly. When this ozone layer is depleted through the action of some chemicals man has no shelter again from the ultraviolent rays of the sun which can cause sunburn and skin cancer. There are also other negative effects of this ray from the sun.
But is the ozone layer completely depleted? If not, then the sun won't directly heat the Earth, right?
