From the description stated, yes, it is....
but the one which i used to buy fr Hock Hua are longer, not cut cross - section like the ones shown in pic...

U can google for more 北芪 pics, u 'll see the types which i mentioned....

Thanks, Augmum! The Chinese name clarifies the confusion. I usually have the long flat ones. What is bei qi good for?

Also, what do you cook with dang quai?
