Does anyone know the letter writing ( timed assignment 1) constitute how many percent? Editing test and performance test - how many percent?

Heard from my girl that someone appeal to cedar IP today with 248. In addition she didn’t appeal to the school in the first place.

      Mum Needs Advice:
so happy for you guys that your children all got your appeal. I appeal to St Patricks but was not successful. now I see the St Patrick's boys walking around in void decks in marine drive doing nothing. I cannot help but think... sigh,, if the principal gave my boy a chance, my boy would use the opportunity to study hard instead of wasting time after school walking around ... doing NOTHING..

My boy has attention deficit and so I was hoping school could accept him so that he could travel less and spend the time on revising or at least have some time to rest a while....

Maybe you can speak to the principal or vice principal and tells them your boy's condition, I think they will help if they can. Or you can call the MOE and tell them of your boy condition and see whether they can help. Usually the MOE will come in and help if there is medical condition.

Is just a suggestion and the Vice Principal actually give in due to his persistence. He just wait patiently for the Vice Principal and ask for the status. I don't think as an educator the VP will bear grudges or treat the girl differently. At this stage, where every parents is desperate for an answer, I think persistence and sincerity helps. My friend write emails to the principal every two days and her DD got in cause the school knows her desire to get in and call her after a few days.

write emails n call is better then camping there honestly

For your info, he didn't camp there , he just wait for the VP every morning patiently. I actually salute him, not every father will do that for her girl. Persistence and love for her girl pays off.

I don’t know whether this will help. My friend told me that a father goes to the appealed school everyday to see the vice principal and ask for a place and finally on the third day, the VP agreed to give the girl a place with 2 points difference.

Does the Sec one O level track student need a laptop? Can they wear track shoes to school and what colored rubber band is allowed?

I dont know if the sec ones this year needs laptops. They can wear track shoes so long they are at least 70% white and the other colors are school colors (namely blue and yellow). Please ask your dd to check with her teachers for more accurate info.
Blue, black, grey and yellow rubber bands are allowed

Thank you so much for info.
