Zero1 - I also wondered about that. I know of an applicant who got her WL converted to CO on the day of the Psle results collection. ( 2 years ago)

Maybe a bit too late to ask- but would u consider not telling your child of the Dsa results till after they have sat for the exams ?
Be it a CO/WL or a rejection ?
Hi, according to MOE website, the results of the DSA-Sec will be released, together with the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) results, in late November 2020. Hence a child with WL will only be able to know whether the WL is converted to CO on the day he/she receive PSLE result.

Thank you everyone here for the guidance and support thru this DSA journey!

One more qn: Do you think the top ip school will be looking at the psle scores of those who are on WL before they decide to convert to CO?
I don't think it work this way. Whether WL will be converted depends on whether there is any who give up their CO for that school, also it depend on how high ranking is your WL. If one CO taker give up and you are the next higher ranking WL, then you be able to be convert to CO.
Cool nurse mentioned gold for Queen's writing competition. Not winning 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

Janine Shum, 14, Ng Woon Meng, 17 and Veronica Shen, 17 won the gold awards in 2018 and 2019.

seems like won gold in this Queen's writing competition, often goes to Secondary school students, since the 3 winners mentioned above are aged (14, 17, 17). These are teenagers Secondary school students' age group.

How about,
is there a Queen's writing competition, opened to primary schools' P6 students, as well?
If there is,
possible that daughter of cool nurse may fall under this younger age group category, instead ?
Yes I think there is junior category.

There is no gain for cool nurse to falsely state her DD’s achievement here. I do believe that gold awards are different from winning the top 3 places. Anyway you can’t really forge CV for successful DSA cos you still need to provide the school with these certificates. Hence, in my opinion, I think what cool nurse had stated here should be true.
