His friends are still awaiting their appeal outcome from ACSI. Apparently, ACSI told them they should hear from them by Monday. So, ACJC will prob start filling the vacancies next week. Good luck!

She is from Fairfield Methodist school, higher Chinese A1, there is no doubt 6 points after bonus point, ACJC science is her No.1 choice, Appeal through CCA still waiting for result

I see. My DS with same score net 6, was lucky then. He was posted to ACJC Science. We placed ACJC Arts as 2nd choice just in case. I heard students can choose any subject combi in ACJC regardless which stream they are in.

My DS knows of a couple of ACJC students awaiting their appeal outcome to ACSI. All the best to your dd's appeal.

Great thanks for all the kind suggestion to my question, actually situation due to AC informed the latest result will be released on 4th of Feb. and have to confirm to AJC before 2nd noon, anyhow will ask again on Monday morning with AC, hopefully there will be a solid answer, thanks again!

Duan1973, I'm curious, is yr dd from ACJC's affiliated school with net 6 points? Was ACJC yr dd's 1st & 2nd choices?

I believe you can still take ACJC’s offer even after accepting AJC. As long as you get an acceptance form from ACJC, AJC will help facilitate the transfer. Schools understand that appeals are still being considered.

Dd will go alone when reporting to posted jc.

We don't think there is a need to buy uniforms and books on the same day. So we are doing it slow.

The JCs give them some time to buy uniform. Maybe ~2-3 weeks. They report in their secondary school uniform. No books to buy. Lots of notes.[/quote]

My DS1 will be in JC1. On the day after posting release, do parents need to go the the posted JC with the child? What will we need to do? Is it similar to Sec 1 registration - Principal’s talk, buy uniform & books?

My boy had to take Malay in Sec 1 last year too. I think it’s good for them to be able to understand some Malay as we live in a multi-cultural society, it can come in handy. It’s not an exam subject, so just learn for fun.
