I called up MOM and indeed it’s legal in Singapore. However when I called the Indonesia Embassy, I was informed it’s illegal in Indonesia context. No direct hiring allowed.


Just concerned if maid goes back for home leave and having problem coming back to Singapore.

Anybody with direct hire of maid but no KTKLN card and helper no issue of coming back to Singapore after home leave?

Or can anyone suggest an agency who can assist in direct hiring of ex-maid?
