Have been informed by son's form teacher via email and through phone last Friday that son is offered to participate the program. He should be back with a letter later according to his teacher. He is from Khatib neibourhood school.

As I am not from Singapore, I have limited knowledge about Singapore education system as well as this program. I shared with son the pros and cons of the program based on my limited understanding about GEP from website, forum etc. He will need to do his own decision whether to accept or not.

The nearest school is Rosyth. I have just explored the area. It took me 30 minutes to reach there by train and bus. What is the extra time I should allocate for the trip during the peak? 30 minutes?

My girl is P3 this yr (2014). From next year onwards, the P4 classes will be of mix ability. The top 3 kids in DD class are being distributed to three different P4 classes. So are the rest in her class. Teacher told them it’s a result of discussion among teachers. This is a change from previous years where P3 and P4 remain the same.

Hi my girl got into Rosyth too. That's my first choice as we stay in the north.

Have impression that not many Rosyth parents in GEP threads. Even fewer are Rosyth girls (most GEP are boys). Hope to know more Rosyth parents here
